About me
I’m Jaime.
I had my son in spring of 2008 and decided to stay at home with him. I left my job of nearly 5 years as a wine consultant to be a full-time Mommy. I do not regret that decision, but I have found that being a stay-at-home Mom is one of the biggest challenges I have ever had to face. It is stressful, demanding and isolating… with very little obvious rewards. I do think that in the end it will pay off, but for now it is making me a little crazy, so to keep myself busy, I learned to knit. I find it relaxing and challenging at the same time. I am able to make a little money on the side knitting for others and I like that.
I started this blog in April of 2009 and was hoping I could at least remember to login and post some pictures. Since then it has blown up and taken on a life of its own. I never imagined I would have as many readers as I do and I appreciate everyone’s comments and well wishes. I now really look forward to blogging about my life, how my son is growing up and learning and how my knitting projects and other crafts are progressing.
